The 3rd of July Music Festival & Craft Fair
The 2nd Oregon Trail Wagon Train 3rd of July Festival will feature a major Rock Concert this year with the headline act "Jimmie Van Zant" performing the hits by his first cousins with "Lynyrd Skynyrd" and ".38 Special."
Also on the bill is a Nashville based Rock & Roll band "Hells Bells" who are THE highest rated "ACDC" cover band in the USA. The Rolling Stone magazine acclaims the band "the most exciting "ACDC" tribute show band in the country.
Also on the show are "The Drivin Dynamics," the longest running Rock & Roll band in the state of Nebraska (Sept. 1961 and continuing). The Drivin Dynamics only original member on guitar-vocals Larry Soto from Gering "1961 with Cherie Campbell-vocals from Torrington '1995, Brent Robb - drums from Ogallala '2004 performing Classic Rock & Roll & Country.
The fourth act is a new and special group called "Five To Life" members are Kevin Soto-drums-vocals, Charlene Clafin-vocals, Jennie Castro-guitar-vocals, Richard Castro-bass-vocals and Dave Hopp on guitar-vocals. This line up is Super!!
The Festival Concert will be held along the historical Oregon Trail by the monumental Chimney Rock just outside of Bayard, NE. THIS IS A GREAT VENUE!!
